The concept of these lectures is to address the scientific research work of different researchers in a friendly venue – a coffee house – by inviting researchers to share their topic in a simplified way to reach a wide audience. For the logo design, the challenge was to create an immediately recognizable logotype that reflects the concept of these scientific meetings, hence the idea of a cup with a square root.
Les posters
For the posters, a graphic principle had to be found to make sure that each lecture will stand out, while creating a certain homogeneity in order to immediately link the poster to the cycle of these “Science & Coffee” lectures. The graphic orientations are, for each poster, a color gradient background with a “galaxy” pattern, a graphic design based mainly on photo-editing or combined with a simple illustration, blowing colors and a modern and futuristic font. The whole design makes it possible to capture the audience attention – whether or not it is familiar to science – and to naturally identify the visual in its scientific framework.
